The latest edition of the Major League Cricket began with Faf du Plessis becoming the oldest man to score a T20 hundred. Playing for Texas Super Kings against the Seattle Orcas, Du Plessis struck a 45-ball ton, his fastest in the format, at the age of 41 years and 340 days. His efforts helped the team to a six-wicket win, as Texas chased down the target in 18.3 overs.
The fourth season of the competition featured six teams - Texas Super Kings, Seattle Orcas, Los Angeles Knight Riders, MI New York, San Francisco Unicorns and Washington Freedom. The final will be played on July 18.
