Beth Mooney’s 76 against the West Indies in Kingstown took her to the second place on the list of most fifty-plus scores in women’s T20Is.
Beth Mooney behind only Smriti Mandhana
With a 55-ball 79 (seven fours, two sixes) at the Arnos Vale Ground, Mooney put Australia 1-0 up in the three-match T20I series against the West Indies. Australia went down to 34-2 after Sophie Molineux won the toss and opted to bat first, but Mooney and Ellyse Perry (36 in 32 balls) put on 99 in 66 balls for the third wicket.
This was Mooney’s 30th fifty-plus score in the format. She went past Suzie Bates to reach second place on the all-time list, behind only Smriti Mandhana’s 34. Among the top ten batters on the list, Mooney is the only one to have taken fewer than four innings for every such score.

In return, Qiana Joseph (45 in 39) top-scored as the West Indies finished on 121-6: they were unable to force the pace against Megan Schutt (3-0-18-0), Kim Garth (4-0-17-1), Alana King (4-1-14-3), and Georgia Wareham (3-0-14-2).
