When and where will the T20 World Cup 2026 Africa Qualifiers be played?
The competition will see a total of 28 matches played between September 26 and October 4. Eight teams will be vying for the title, divided into two groups – Group A: Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, and Nigeria; Group B: Botswana, Tanzania, Uganda, and hosts Zimbabwe.
Each side will play the others in their group once, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the semi-finals. The two finalists will secure a spot in the 2026 T20 World Cup, to be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
The entire tournament will be hosted at two venues in Harare: the Harare Sports Club and the Takashinga Cricket Club.
Namibia and Uganda were the top two teams in the previous edition of the tournament, with the latter making their T20 World Cup debut in 2024.
