In the second round of the 2026 season, Jamaica faced off against Barbados at Sabina Park in Kingston; the hosts came into this game having won the opening round of the three-match series thanks to a superb opening stand between Jonathan Campbell and Kirk McKenzie.

The pair put on over 200 runs again, this time batting first on day one (April 19). Jamaica scored a stiff 457 on a good batting track, their innings lasting four sessions. Kraigg Brathwaite's half-century then helped Barbados to 125-1 by the end of day two.

Prior to the start of this season, Wickham had three centuries in 32 first-class innings, but has now scored three in a row. His twin tons (153 & 108*) in the previous round made him become the second-youngest after Brathwaite to do so in West Indies domestic cricket. The former is also his highest first-class score.

Wickham was West Indies' top run-scorer at the 2022 U19 World Cup, with 243 runs in four innings including a century against Zimbabwe.
