Despite putting on an impressive of 336-6, India were under pressure early on in the English chase. Jonny Bairstow and Jason Roy had notched up their second century partnership in a row, taking the visitors to 110-0 in 16.2 overs.

As the home bowlers seemed to run out of options, a moment of brilliance in the field helped India claim their first wicket.

Fielding at short midwicket, Rohit put in an electric dive to stop a flicked shot from Baistow. Turning instantly, he picked up the ball and produced a perfect one-handed throw, all in the span of a few seconds.

A mix-up between the batsmen meant that there was no chance for Roy to make the crease, as Pant dislodged the stumps.
