The first Test of the two-match series between West Indies and Pakistan will get underway on Saturday, July 25, at the Brian Lara Stadium, Tarouba in Trinidad. The action will shift to the Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain for the second and final Test that starts on August 2.
West Indies are coming into this series after beating Sri Lanka 1-0 earlier this month in a two-match series. But the Caribbean outfit have not won a Test series against Pakistan since 2000 and the hosts would be eager to end the 26-year drought this time around.
Pakistan, led by Babar Azam after he took over from Shan Masood as Test captain, seek a resurgence after a difficult period. Following a 0-2 home series loss to Bangladesh in May, the visitors aim to regain their form against the West Indies. These two sides last met in January 2025 in Pakistan, where their two-match series concluded in a 1-1 draw.
Both the matches are scheduled to start at 10am local time (7pm PKT, 3pm UK time, 7.30pm IST).
