That was Sri Lanka’s second-highest successful chase in the format. It came a year after they gunned down 302 against South Africa – till date the only successful 300-plus chase in women’s ODI history.
IND, SL, SA tri-series points table after Match 4
Neither side has changed their position on the points table. Despite suffering their first loss, India remain top with two wins from three matches – level with Sri Lanka, who stay second due to an inferior net run-rate (NRR). While Sri Lanka's NRR improved from -0.845 to -0.166 after this win, it still trails India's +0.433 significantly, due to their heavy defeat in the tournament opener against the same opposition.
Team | Played | Won | Lost | NR | Points | NRR |
India | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 4 | +0.433 |
Sri Lanka | 3 | 2 | 1 | 0 | 2 | -0.166 |
South Africa | 2 | 0 | 0 | 0 | 0 | -0.356 |
