Nilakshika Silva is a talented Sri Lankan cricketer born on September 27, 1989. As a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium seam bowler, she has been an integral part of the Sri Lanka women's national team. De Silva made her international debut in 2015, starting with her ODI debut against New Zealand in the ICC Champions Trophy on November 3, 2015. She has since become a key player, featuring in several major tournaments.


Silva's cricketing career highlights include being the leading wicket-taker for Sri Lanka in the 2018 Women's Twenty20 Asia Cup with seven dismissals in five matches.
