After winning the T20I tri-series including South Africa and Zimbabwe, New Zealand will now switch over to the longer format, playing two Tests in Zimbabwe. Their regular skipper Tom Latham has been ruled out of the first match due to injury, which means Mitchell Santner will take over captaincy - a first for him in Test cricket.

ZIM vs NZ: What's the head-to-head Test record between the sides?
Zimbabwe and New Zealand have played 17 Test matches so far, with the latter winning 11 of those. Zimbabwe haven't won a single Test against them so far, with six matches ending in draws.
The two sides have met 11 times in Zimbabwe, with eight of those Tests going in favour of New Zealand. The last time New Zealand toured Zimbabwe for a Test series was in 2016, which they won 2-0.
When and where will the ZIM vs NZ Tests be played?
Both Test matches in this series will be played at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo.
The first match starts on July 30, scheduled to run till August 3 unless it finishes earlier. The second Test will start four days later, on August 7 and go on till August 11.
Both games will star at 10 am local time, which would translate to 1:30 pm India time, 9 am UK time, and 8 pm New Zealand time.
