India A vs England Lions: What happened in the first game?

KL-Jaiswal combine for second game
Jaiswal opened with KL Rahul in the second “Test”, at Northampton, after James Rew won the toss and opted to field. The opening pair may be an indication of India’s preference in the Test series.
In the seventh over, Chris Woakes pitched up a ball that Jaiswal tried to flick and missed. As the ball hit Jaiswal on the pad, the fielders appealed, and he was ruled out leg-before. Visibly displeased, he indicated that the ball might have gone down the leg-side before reluctantly walking off the ground, for 17.
Not too long afterwards, Woakes bowled India A captain Abhimanyu Easwaran for 11. When rain stopped play, India A were 41-2 after 11.2 overs, with Rahul (9) and Nair (0) at the crease. Woakes has figures of 6-3-8-2.
