Biography
Aizaz Cheema is a right-arm medium-fast bowler who made his first-class debut in the 2001/02 season.
A prolific wicket-taker at the domestic level, Cheema was part of the Pakistani team at the 2010 Asian Games in China that won a bronze medal by beating Sri Lanka. His performances at the first-class level seemed to be a lot more impressive, but a foot injury in 2008 almost put an end to his career, which ruled him out of action for sometime. However, it was better late than never for Cheema as he made his Test debut against Zimbabwe in 2011, aged 31. It was just the kind of start he would have expected as his figures of 8 for 103 in his maiden outing were also the second best by a Pakistani on debut.
