An able top-order batsman and a wicket-keeper, Naman Ojha hails from Madhya Pradesh and represents his state in first-class cricket.
Ojha made his first-class debut for Madhya Pradesh in 2000-01 and finished with an impressive average of 36.31 with 214* as his highest score. He performed well in the 2008-09 Challenger Trophy, scoring 96 for India Green. He was also included in the Indian ODI squad for its Zimbabwe tour as a back-up wicket-keeper in the absence of senior players. He was called into the Rajasthan side for the second season of the Indian T20 league. In 2011, he was signed by Delhi. In 2014, he was picked up by the Hyderabad franchise for the 2014 Indian T20 League. Ojha hasn’t had the best of build ups for the 2014 edition as he has been struggling to score runs in the domestic T20 tournaments. For his state Madhya Pradesh, he managed a mere 21 runs in 4 matches during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.
