Two Pakistan players are in the top ten, their two highest run-getters in the format. Of them, a wicketkeeper-batter finds himself at number one on the list with 1,326 runs at an average of 73.66 and a strike rate of 134.89 in 2021.

He also features one more time in the top 10 (at No. 4) for scoring 996 runs at 45.27 and 122.96 in 2022. His compatriot features at No. 6 for scoring 939 runs at an average of 37.56 and a strike rate of 127.58 in 2021. The latter is also the second-highest run-scorer in T20I history and Pakistan's fifth-highest run-scorer across all formats. In the history of T20Is, the duo has also scored the most runs in partnerships.

Overall, as of March 19, 2026, 21 players have scored 750 or more T20I runs in a calendar year. Apart from the Pakistan wicketkeeper, five others have scored 1000 runs. You have to name them all in five minutes.
