In the first Test of 1999/2000, South Africa successfully chased 163 in the fourth innings, getting over the line by four wickets. The visitors were even more dominant in the second Test. A left-arm spinner’s seven-wicket match haul, along with his 85 as night-watch, sealed a win by an innings and 71 runs.
