Can you name the bowlers in the top 30 of the ICC’s ODI bowling rankings on February 13, 2015?
The 2015 World Cup, co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, began on February 14. It replicated the structure of the 2011 version: the 14 teams were split into two groups, from which eight teams proceeded to the semi-final.
India were unbeaten until the semi-final, where a defeat was enough to eliminate them. New Zealand’s unbeaten run extended to the final, but they could not pull it off. Australia won both matches to extend their record of World Cup titles to five (they would win again in 2023).

The 2015 World Cup was dominated by fast bowlers. Two left-armers, from Australia and New Zealand, topped the wickets chart. The next five places were also occupied by fast bowlers – two from India, and one from each of South Africa, the West Indies, and Pakistan. A New Zealand spinner followed them.
Several of these bowlers dominated the ICC men’s ODI bowling rankings going into the tournament. In this quiz, you have to name the top 25 on that list on February 13, the day before the World Cup. We have revealed their teams and ranks.
