In this quiz, you need to name the left-handed batters who have scored the most centuries since the start of the decade.

An Australian opener has scored the most hundreds (8) by a left-handed batter since 2020. After making a comeback in the 2021 Ashes following a two-year absence, he struck two centuries at the SCG, heralding a second wind in his career. During the 2023 Ashes, he finished as the leading run-scorer. He now has five Test centuries in Asia, the second-most by any Australian batter, behind only Allan Border (6).

He is followed by his compatriot, who has seven tons to his name and is an explosive middle-order batter, also widely regarded as the best all-format batter presently.

The top five includes two Sri Lankans. One – ranked joint-second – is a former captain who retired from Test cricket earlier this year. The other, tied for third with five centuries, is a rising star enjoying a record-breaking run since his debut. Notably, the latter has played fewer than half the matches of those above him, making him the favourite to challenge the status quo.
