Back in the 1950s, Alvin Robert Cornelius founded a team of young Pakistani cricketers. They toured England several times between 1952 and 1963 and the Malaya and Ceylon in 1960/61, and played against teams touring Pakistan. They were known as the Pakistan Eaglets.

This generic words have often been animals – of land, water, or air, and even mythological. Some first-class teams have adopted the practice as well, as have the “A” teams of at least two nations.
