In this quiz, you have to name the top-ranked men's Test bowlers on the eve of the 2021-23 World Test Championship cycle.

The 2021-23 World Test Championship began on August 4, 2021, and ended with Australia lifting the title at Lord's, beating India in the final. It was India's second consecutive loss in the tournament, having lost the 2019-21 final to New Zealand. Australia have also qualified for the 2025 final, where they will take on South Africa.

This top 25 contains players from all of the nine Test nations which are part of the WTC – five from India, four each from Australia and New Zealand, three each from England and Pakistan, two each from South Africa and West Indies and one each from Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.

The top-ranked player has a rating of over 900 points (out of a maximum of 1000), one of the most elusive achievements in cricket since the current rankings system was developed.

The top 25 is dominated by pace bowlers – they account for 21 players here. One of the spinners retired from international cricket in late 2024. The third-ranked player here is currently with England's backroom staff, a role one of the other quicks has also taken up.
