In this quiz, you have to name the top 25 batters in ICC men’s ODI rankings the day before the 1987 World Cup started.

The 1987 ODI World Cup was the fourth edition of the tournament. For the first time, the competition was held outside England, with India and Pakistan serving as joint hosts. The edition is remembered for Australia lifting their first-ever World Cup title, paving the way for the five more they would go on to win in 1999, 2003, 2007, 2015, and 2023 – the most by any team. This was also the first World Cup played in a 50-over-per-innings format, replacing the previous 60-over structure.
