In this quiz, you have to match every men’s international cricket venue in Australia to its city.

The first ever Test match was played in an Australian venue, from March 15, 1877. By 1884, three Australian venues – in separate cities – had hosted Test cricket. Two venues in a fourth city were added a few decades later, but it was not before 1970 that a fifth city was added to the Test match roster.

The introduction of ODIs welcomed an era where new Australian venues began to host international cricket, a trend that continued in the 1970s and 1980s. The 1992 World Cup was played across 11 venues in Australia (and seven in New Zealand), many of which marked their “debuts”. T20Is led to even more venues.
