Dave Gregory led Australia in the first ever Test match, against England in 1876/77, while his brother Ned played alongside him. They were the uncles of Test captain Syd, whose 58 Test matches were a world record in the pre-War era, and fast-bowling all-rounder Jack, who held the world record for the fastest Test hundred for more than sixty years. Pankaj Roy and his son Pranab played Test cricket for India, but so did Pankaj’s nephew Ambar.
