Every team at every level wants to have a left-arm orthodox spinner. Being a finger-spinner, they are usually more accuracy than their wrist-spinning counterparts, while moving the ball away from the right-handed batter makes them invaluable.

Not as common are left-arm wrist-spinners. Not only do they belong to the intersection of two small groups (left-armers and wrist-spinners) but their stock ball also comes into the right-hander. That makes the ascent to the top levels difficult for left-arm wrist spinners.
