The T20Is, reduced to a three-game series from the originally planned five matches, began on Wednesday, with Pakistan registering a 37-run win. Batting first, the hosts posted 201-7 on the board, led by a half-century from skipper Salman Ali Agha. Mohammad Haris (31 in 18), Hassan Nawaz (44 in 22), and Shadab Khan (48 in 25) made valuable contributions, as Pakistan made 200 batting first for just the second time in nearly four years.
In reply, Bangladesh struggled to keep up with the asking rate, as they were all out for 164, with Hasan Ali picking up five wickets.

Pakistan are unlikely to bring major changes to their XI, but could slot in Abbas Afridi for Haris Rauf. Haris has conceded 10.39 runs per over in 13 T20 innings this year, and was also expensive in the first T20I, giving away 36 runs in three overs.
Bangladesh might bring in Najmul Hossain Shanto for the second game, with Litton Das moving up the order, alongside Parvez Hossain Emon.
