The fifth edition of the Women’s Caribbean Premier League is scheduled to commence from September 5 in Bridgetown.
The Women’s Caribbean Premier League used to feature three teams, Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors, and Trinbago Knight Riders. The Jamaica Express joined them from this season.
Barbados Tridents (renamed from Barbados Royals ahead of the WCPL 2026), the most successful team of the tournament, have won three of the four editions so far. They will take on the Knight Riders in the opening clash of the tournament.
After a round-robin format, the team finishing at the top of the points table will qualify for the final, while the second- and third-placed teams will clash in a playoff game.
All the matches will be played in Bridgetown, with different commencement times. Four fixtures, including the playoff, will start at 10am local time (7.30pm IST, 3pm UK). Two fixtures will commence at 3pm local time (12.30am IST next day, 8pm UK). Two others, including the final, will start at 2pm local time (11.30pm IST, 7pm UK).
