SKN Patriots thrashed Antigua and Barbuda Falcons by six wickets on Thursday (August 14). Here's what the CPL 2025 points table looks like after the result.
Batting first at Werner Park in Nebraska, the Falcons were bowled out for 121 in 17.1 overs. Afghanistan spinner Waqar Salamkheil led the rout with a four-wicket haul (4-22). For the Falcons, over 50 percent of the runs were scored by No. 3 batter Karima Gore, who smashed a 34-ball 61, including eight fours and two sixes.
Naseem Shah, who stayed back after Pakistan’s ODI series defeat against the West Indies, took 2-20 in 3.1 overs. Fazalhaq Farooqi (2-30) also claimed two wickets, while Kyle Mayers (1-12 in two overs) and Patriots captain Jason Holder (1-19 in three overs) picked up one each.

The Patriots had a minor hiccup, slipping to 76-4 at the halfway stage. However, Alick Athanaze (37 off 28)* and Holder (18 off 14)* remained unbeaten, guiding their team to victory in 15 overs with six wickets in hand.

The SKN Patriots finished last in the previous season, winning just one out of 10 matches. They would be happy to start strong in their first match, earning two crucial points to put them at the top of the table with a net run rate (NRR) of +2.283.
On the other hand, the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons finished second-last (fifth) last season, and after their loss in the tournament opener, they now have an NRR of -2.283.
