Mohammad Rizwan signed a CPL contract with St Kitts and Nevis Patriots on Wednesday (August 20). Here are all the Pakistan internationals who have participated in the league.
Rizwan is set to replace Afghanistan pacer Fazalhaq Farooqi, who will leave the CPL to join the national team for their tri-series against Pakistan and the UAE. Earlier this week, Rizwan was left out of Pakistan's squad for that series as well as the Asia Cupwhich follows it, meaning he is available for the remainder of the tournament.Babar Azam and Naseem Shah were the other major names omitted from that squad. Naseem is also playing in this year's CPL for the Patriots.

Three Pakistan internationals have played over 50 CPL matches, since the league's inception in 2013. In the latest game on August 20, 2025, Antigua and Barbuda Falcons captain Imad Wasim went past Shoaib Malik, to record the most appearances by a Pakistan international in the competition, with 68. He has also played for the Jamaica Tallawahs.
Left-arm quick Sohail Tanvir played 59 CPL games for three franchises, the last of which came in 2020 with the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots. He had represented the Guyana Amazon Warriors for three seasons and the St Lucia Zouks for one before then. Two other left-arm pacers, Wahab Riaz and Mohammad Amir, Pakistan's only members of the 400 T20 wickets-club, have also been active CPL participants. Amir, in fact, has represented the most CPL franchises of any Pakistan player, with four.
At the other end of the scale are those cricketers who, far from being mainstays in the league, have only occasionally been a part. Nine Pakistan internationals have made five or fewer appearances in the league, many in its early seasons. Babar Azam, for example, played five games for the Guyana Amazon Warriors in 2017, and Azhar Mahmood played a solitary game for the Barbados Tridents in 2013. Opening batter Nasir Jamshed played thrice for the Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel in 2014.
