Colin Munro smashed a 57-ball 120 against St Kitts and Nevis Patriots, helping the Trinbago Knight Riders to 231-5, their third-highest total in the Caribbean Premier League.
The Knight Riders began their campaign on Sunday (August 17), batting first at Warner Park in St Kitts. Munro, opening the innings alongside Alex Hales, got the team off to a flier. TKR were 114-0 in just nine overs before Hales departed for a 27-ball 47.
Munro, however, kept going, bringing up his fifty in 21 deliveries with a four off Jason Holder. He scored his next fifty runs in 29 balls, this time reaching the milestone with a six off the bowling of Naseem Shah. He eventually made 120 in 57 deliveries, with the help of six sixes and 14 fours at a strike rate of 210.53.
He was particularly harsh on the two internationals, making 66 off just 28 balls against Holder and Naseem combined. Munro scored 33 runs off 16 runs against the former West Indies skipper and smashed 33 off 12 versus Naseem.

It was also Munro’s second hundred in the CPL, joining seven others on the list with multiple tons in the tournament. He is also the first after Faf du Plessis to score more than one CPL hundred among non-West Indians. Overall, this was Munro's sixth T20 hundred.
In reply, St Kitts and Nevis got close, but no batter could cross fifty and finish off the chase. They fell short by 12 runs, managing 219-7.
