Harry Brook moved up 12 spots in the ICC men's T20I rankings for batters after firing on all cylinders in the India series.
Brook smashed 79* and 95* in the fourth and fifth matches of the series against India to finish as the highest run-scorer. He tallied 229 runs in four innings at an average of 114.5 and a strike rate of 214.02 to be named the player of the series. Thanks to his exploits, especially in the last two matches, Brook climbed 12 spots in the latest T20I rankings for batters to storm into the top 10. He is in seventh place now with a career-best 734 rating points.

Jos Buttler, who returned to form in some style with a 64-ball 131, moved from seventh to sixth. Jacob Bethell, meanwhile, dropped out of top 10, losing six places to go 14th, just a couple of weeks after his heroics against India at Old Trafford.
Tilak Varma dropped two places to eighth. He had a forgettable series against England until a 25-ball 53 in the last game. Ishan Kishan and Abhishek Sharma maintained their top two spots despite a below-par T20I series against England.

Among bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah has dropped out of top 10, slipping five places to 13th after missing the England series. Adil Rashid has retained his third place with 710 rating points after picking up three wickets in the last two T20Is against India. Nasum Ahmed entered the top 10 after taking three wickets in two T20Is against Australia in June.
