England have announced their squads for the upcoming white-ball series against West Indies.

England are set to play three ODIs from May 29 and as many T20Is from June 6 against the West Indies at home. This marks newly appointed white-ball captain Harry Brook’s first stint since succeeding Jos Buttler permanently after England’s dismal campaign in the 2025 Champions Trophy.

The squads feature several returning players. Hampshire all-rounder Liam Dawson makes his T20I comeback after last appearing in September 2022. Left-arm seamer Luke Wood also returns, having last featured in September 2023. Lancashire spinner Tom Hartley earns ODI recall, last having played in the format against Ireland in September 2023. Surrey all-rounder Will Jacks features in both squads as well, marking his England comeback.

What about those players with IPL commitments?

Buttler (Gujarat Titans), Jacob Bethell (Royal Challengers Bengaluru), and Will Jacks (Mumbai Indians) have been named in England's squads despite their ongoing IPL commitments. This comes after the revised IPL schedule, which now clashes with the ODI series. England, however, said it is working closely with the BCCI to ensure England players’ return should they choose to go back.

Rajasthan Royals’ Jofra Archer and Chennai Super Kings’ Jamie Overton have also been included in the ODI squad, but their teams have already been eliminated from the play-off race. Liam Livingstone, meanwhile, has been dropped from the squads, allowing him to participate in RCB’s remaining season alongside Phil Salt, who has only been axed from the ODI side.
