The remaining matches of IPL 2025 are set to resume on May 17: Here’s the revised IPL 2025 schedule, including fixtures list for each team, match timings and venues.
When will the remaining IPL 2025 matches be played?
The IPL is set to resume on May 17, and the final will be played on June 3, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced on Monday (May 12). The tournament, which was postponed last Friday after India and Pakistan engaged in a military conflict, will now take place at six venues, with those for the play-off matches still to be named.
With a majority of foreign players back in their respective countries, the franchises have the headache of ensuring their availability. Reports suggest that Mitchell Starc, playing for Delhi Capitals and Josh Hazlewood, playing for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, may not return as Australia are set to play the World Test Championship final from June 11. However, Cricket Australia’s (CA) official statement indicates they've left this decision to individual players.

The revised schedule begins with Royal Challengers Bengaluru facing Kolkata Knight Riders in Bengaluru on Saturday, May 17. A double-header follows on Sunday, May 18, featuring Rajasthan Royals vs Delhi Capitals in Jaipur and Delhi Capitals vs Gujarat Titans in Delhi.
Apart from these three venues, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, and Mumbai are the other host cities for the remaining league matches. The venues of the playoffs are yet to be decided.
