
The warm-up matches for the 2025 Women’s World Cup get underway on September 25. Here’s everything you need to know about the warm-up schedule, including the full fixtures list, match timings and venues for the practice matches.
The tournament is set to begin on September 30, with the India and Sri Lanka kicking off the tournament in Guwahati. India are hosting the tournament for the first time since 2013, while Sri Lanka will host Pakistan's matches. The round-robin stage of the tournament will run until October 26, with the final scheduled for November 2.
There have been two bilateral ODI series ahead of the World Cup, with India facing defending Champions Australia and Pakistan hosting South Africa. Australia came out on top against India, despite Smriti Mandhana's record-breaking century in the final match of the series, while South Africa beat Pakistan 2-1. Pakistan claimed a consolation win in the third match, in which Nashra Sandhu took a history-making six-for.
