After Australia won the three-match ODI series 2-1, the action shifts to the T20I leg of India's white-ball tour. The visitors would be looking to extend their good form they found in the dead-rubber of the ODI series, with Rohit Sharma (121*) and Virat Kohli (74*) powering them to a nine-wicket win.

The first T20I was washed out, before the hosts won the second by four wickets, but 40 balls to spare. India hit back in the third game, chasing down 187 with nine balls to spare thanks to Washington Sundar's heroics with the bat.
In the fourth T20I India, took an unassailable 2-1 lead in the five-match series with a 48-run win; led by Shubman Gill's 46 and the bowling efforts of Axar Patel (2-20), Shivam Dube (2-20) and Washington Sundar (3-3).
Australia can still level the series with a win at the Gabba on Saturday (November 8).

In the head-to-head T20I record, India hold the upper hand with 20 wins from 32 matches. Australia have won 11, while one match in 2018 ended in no result.
Of the 11 times the two teams have clashed in bilateral T20I series, India have won six. Australia, meanwhile, have won two (in 2008 and 2019), with three series (in 2012, 2017, and 2018) being shared.
