Indian captain Shubman Gill, who scored a hundred in the same game, held on to the top spot, while Rohit Sharma remained fourth. Meanwhile, an excellent series against England helped Kusal Mendis gain three places and rise to seventh, while Matthew Breetzke jumped 19 places to 21st.
