However, the night belonged to uncapped batter Sameer Rizvi. Playing at No.4, he smashed an unbeaten fifty to manoeuvre what once seemed a tricky run chase. Alongside Tristan Stubbs, he took Delhi over the line without the loss of another wicket, as they registered their first points on the board.
