What were the talking points in LSG vs RR, IPL 2026 match 32?
The hype was largely around Mayank Yadav in his comeback game after a year, but Mohsin Khan (4-1-17-2) quickly became the talk of the town after Mohammed Shami’s (4-0-30-2) double-strike. Mohsin became the first to bowl a maiden over to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. Prince Yadav (4-0-29-2), meanwhile, clinched the Orange Cap. RR were left reeling at 77-5 and then 110-6, but Ravindra Jadeja (43* in 29) pushed them to 159-6.
None of the first three LSG batters to be dismissed scored a run. At 11-3, the small target seemed steep, but Mitchell Marsh (55 in 41) kept them in the game for a while. Once he fell, however, LSG caved in for 119 as Jofra Archer returned 4-1-20-3, Nandre Burger 4-0-27-2, and Brijesh Sharma 3-0-18-2. Nicholas Pooran’s poor run continued as he struggled during his 25-ball 22.
RR’s total of 159-6 is the lowest total defended successfully in IPL 2026 so far.

Who were the top performers in LSG vs RR?
Despite having a strong batting unit, RR needed to reach a competitive total against Shami, Mohsin, and co. For that, they used the Impact Player option on Shubham Dubey. The decision worked, for Dubey stayed long enough for Jadeja to play a crucial hand to give RR a fighting chance.
Archer and Burger ran away with the bowling honours, while Brijesh, Jadeja, and Ravi Bishnoi provided excellent support.
