What were the talking points in RR vs LSG?
Two knocks in the 90s defined the game: Mitchell Marsh’s 96 for LSG and Sooryavanshi’s 93 for RR. But the teenager’s run came at a strike-rate of 244.73, compared to the Australia skipper’s 168.42. Rishabh Pant played a handy knock, but his failure to explain why Mohammed Shami wasn’t playing the game at the toss was among the talking points. Who were the top performers in RR vs LSG?
A 15-year-old boy was once again the top performer in the world’s best T20 league. His knock set up the chase for RR, and there was no turning back. Sooryavanshi now holds the Orange Cap with 579 runs in 13 matches at 44.53 and a strike-rate of 236.62. Mohsin Khan dismissed Sooryavanshi and finished with remarkable figures of 1-31 from four overs. Leg spinner Yash Raj Punja was the pick of the bowlers for RR, with two wickets for 35 runs in four overs.
