Gujarat Titans' Glenn Phillips hit back at a question during a press conference following his side's first IPL playoff match of the season.
'That is a really silly question'
Gujarat lost to Royal Challengers Bengaluru by 92 runs in Qualifier 1, sending them to Friday's Qualifier 2, where they will take on either Sunrisers Hyderabad or Rajasthan Royals for a spot in the final.

Phillips attended the post-match press conference despite not being part of GT's playing XII, but managed to leave his mark. The New Zealand international was asked whether GT gave up mentally, after RCB made 254-5 in the first innings.
"That's a silly question. That is a really silly question," Phillips said. "No one goes in there, waiting to go 'Oh you know, we're just going to give up on this one.' Why would we do that as professional cricketers?
"That's a terrible question. We went out there, we gave it everything. Unfortunately when you're trying to chase 250, everything has to go right... and we went out there to try and make everything go right and obviously it didn't."
RCB rode on a 76-run Powerplay, and a blistering unbeaten 93 off 33 balls from captain Rajat Patidar, as 126 runs came in the last seven overs of their innings.
"Obviously, there's a huge amount of scoreboard pressure when you're trying to chase 250," Phillisp added. "Very few teams have done it, obviously, Punjab Kings have managed to do it a couple of times which is phenomenal.
"I think they've maybe made it seem easier than it is. I've yet to be part of a team that's gotten anywhere near 250, so, you know, sometimes it just is what it is."
