Namibia have named a full-strength squad for the one-off T20I, which will be the first meeting between these sides in international cricket. Their most recent engagement was the ICC men's T20 World Cup Africa Region Final, in which they secured qualification for the 2026 T20 World Cup, despite losing the final of the tournament to Zimbabwe.
South Africa have named a new T20I captain in middle-order batter Donovan Ferreira, who has been in a rich vein of form in domestic first-class cricket of late.Quinton de Kock has also reversed his international retirement to be part of the squad.
The match will begin at 2pm local time, at the Namibia Cricket Ground in Windhoek.
