PSL 2025 is set to resume on May 17, the same day as the resumption of IPL 2025: here are all the latest updates on player availability for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League.
The PSL was suspended after the May 7 clash between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United as India and Pakistan entered into military conflict following a deadly terrorist attack in Pahalgam on April 22.
As the tensions between the neighbouring countries have reduced following a ceasefire understanding, the PCB have announced that the PSL will resume on May 17, with eight matches left to be played. You can find the revised PSL 2025 schedule here.
As the PSL returns, there's speculation over which overseas players who had left the country during the conflict, will come back to play the remaining games.

How many matches remain?
Only four league games and four playoff games are left in PSL 2025 so far, which could make overseas players all the more reluctant to travel back.
What happens if overseas players don't return?
According to the ESPNcricinfo report, PCB are considering a replacement draft to make up for the overseas players who might not return. There's no official word on this yet.
Overseas players were airlifted out of Pakistan to UAE
As the military conflict between India and Pakistan escalated, the PCB had to airlift overseas players participating in the PSL out of Pakistan to the UAE.
