Pakistan Super League suspended

The PCB have announced that the remaining eight matches of the PSL have been postponed following the rising tensions between India and Pakistan.

It was announced yesterday (May 8) that the remainder of the tournament would be played in the UAE, although no further details were given on the schedule for those matches to take place. However, reports began to circulate today over whether that plan would fall through.

A statement released from the PCB read: "The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announces the postponement of the remaining eight matches of the HBL PSL X.

"The last 24 hours have seen a worsening of the situation on the LOC, increased incursion of 78 drones, and the firing of surface to surface missiles from India.

"We, at the PCB, also have sincere regard for the mental well-being of participating players and the sentiments of our foreign players, and we respect the concerns of their families who want to see them back home."
