Lahore Qalandars needed to beat Peshawar Zalmi in the last league match to qualify for the PSL 2025 playoffs. They did that to secure fourth place on the points table. Karachi Kings, on the other hand, were at second place until the last game, until their last game.
There, Islamabad United not only beat them to draw level on points but also did enough to make it to Qualifier 1. IU lost that game to the Quetta Gladiators, and will now play the winner of the Eliminator in Qualifier 2, on May 23. You can find the complete schedule for the PSL 2025 playoffs here.

Hosts LQ will be without Sikandar Raza, who left for the Test match in England after the league stage. Raza had been one of their key players in their run to the playoffs. However, they have replaced him with Mehidy Hasan Miraz, who is joining them for the playoffs.
KK, on the other hand, are probably the best-equipped when it comes to returning overseas players. Captain David Warner, Tim Seifert, James Vince, and Mohammad Nabi all played in the last league game, and are set to play tonight.
