Multan Sultans opener Steve Smith and Sahibzada Farhan have been their top scorers this season and enter the Eliminator in form. Shan Masood has had a highly improved campaign this time out, and a lot would depend on him if Multan lose their openers cheaply. Veteran Peter Siddle is their top wicket-taker so far with 13, while the young pace-bowling duo of Arafat Minhas and Muhammad Ismail has been effective as well.
Few expected Marnus Labuschagne to be as effective as he has been for the Hyderabad Kingsmen. The onus would be on him to provide his team a good start, while Usman Khan is in good touch as well and will have a crucial role to play in the Eliminator. Mohammad Ali and Hunain Shah have picked up 25 wickets between them this season. This would be a good occasion for Maaz Sadaqat to score big.
