Hyderabad are coming off the back of a morale-boosting win over Multan Sultans in Eliminator 1. Their trio of quicks, Mohammad Ali, Akif Javed and Hunain Shah took two apiece there, and have been the cornerstone of their turnaround after a four-game losing run at the start of the competition. Usman Khan has been in blistering form with the bat of late, along with captain Marnus Labuschagne. Promisingly for them, Maaz Sadaqat found his touch in the previous game with an unbeaten 64 off 33. Islamabad were on the wrong end of a Babar Azam special in the Qualifier, and luckily have a second shot at making the final. They will be looking for some course correction from Richard Gleeson and Shadab Khan, who each went at over 10 an over in that game. Teenage opener Sameer Minhas made 44 off 23 then, and will be just as crucial as ever in today's fixture.
