The first-ever player’s auction in the Pakistan Super League will be held on February 11 - here’s the latest updates, retention news and all the information you need for the event.

For the first time, the PSL has moved from a players’ draft, with the auction set to take place next week. Two new teams, Hyderabad and Sialkot, have been added to the competition, leading to several changes being introduced in the PSL. The two new teams can select up to four players from the pool of cricketers not retained by the six existing teams.

The deadline to submit the retentions for the six original sides is February 3, while it is February 6 for the three new sides.
