PSL 2026: Who were the top performers in PZ vs MS?
Mohammad Haris raced to a 17-ball 38, giving PZ a solid start. Kusal Mendis took over, scoring his third consecutive fifty-plus score in PSL 2026, finishing with 68 off 40, helping them reach a competitive 196-6 in 20 overs. Muhammad Ismail and Peter Siddle took two wickets each for Multan.
Josh Philippe provided the much-needed impetus to the Multan chase, hitting a 17-ball 32. Shan Masood played yet another impactful knock, scoring 35 off 19 to keep his side in the hunt until his dismissal in the 16th over.
Left-arm spinner Sufiyan Muqeem took the three important wickets of Steve Smith, Philippe and Multan captain Ashton Turner, and conceded just 30 runs in his four-over spell. Iftikhar Ahmed was once again among the wickets, dismissing Sahibzada Farhan and Shan Masood: the latter turning out to be a match-defining one.
