PSL 2026 transfer window: What kind of trades are allowed?

Teams can take part in three types of transactions during the window.

They may exchange players directly in a player-for-player deal.

A player may also be transferred to another team in return for a mutually agreed financial amount deducted from the receiving franchise’s remaining salary purse.

A third option allows teams to combine both elements, where players are exchanged along with a financial payment as part of the agreement.

Every transfer must remain within the salary cap of the respective franchises. Any deal will only be finalised once it receives approval from the PCB.

The upcoming 11th edition of the league will feature eight teams and is scheduled to be played across six venues from March 26 to May 3.
