Ranji Trophy 2025-26: Which teams are on top?
The 91st edition of India's premier first-class competition resumes in the new year, with five rounds having been completed already.
Thirty-two teams divided into four Elite Groups (A, B, C, and D) will compete for the title, while the lower tier – the Plate League – will have six more teams.
After the first five rounds, Vidarbha, Karnataka, Bengal and Mumbai top Elite Groups A, B, C and D respectively, while Manipur are atop the Plate Group standings. Goa's Abhinav Tejrana is the leading run-scorer in the Elite competition, and Gujarat's Siddarth Desai has the most wickets. Armaan Jaffer (Mizoram) and Bishworjit Konthoujam (Manipur) are the respective toppers in the Plate Group.
