Round four of the 2025/26 Ranji Trophy began on November 8; here's a round-up of all the action from day three.
Elite Group A
Spearheaded by Saurabh Kumar (4-46), Andhra bowled out Tamil Nadu for 195 and chased down 201 with four wickets in hand. Uttar Pradesh beat Nagaland by an innings and 265 runs. Vidarbha rode on Dhruv Shorey’s second hundred of the match and Aman Mokhade’s first to set Odisha 345. Despite securing a 215-run lead, Jharkhand did not enforce the follow-on against Baroda.

- Tamil Nadu 182 (Prithvi Raj 4-46) and 195 (B Sachin 51; Saurabh Kumar 4-46) lost to Andhra 177 (Shaik Rasheed 87*; Sandeep Warrier 4-53) and 201-6 (Abhishek Reddy 70) by four wickets.
- Uttar Pradesh 535-6d (Madhav Kaushik 185*, Aryan Juyal 140, Shivam Mavi 101*; Rongsen Jonathan 4-150) beat Nagaland 117 (Shivam Mavi 5-18) and 153 (Chetan Bist 53; Shivam Sharma 5-25) by an innings and 265 runs.
- Vidarbha 286 (Dhruv Shorey 144; Sambit Baral 3-69) and 218-2d (Aman Mokhade 101*, Dhruv Shorey 101) lead Odisha 160 (Gaurav Farde 4-28) and 44-0 by 300 runs.
- Jharkhand 506 (Kumar Kushagra 234; Mahesh Pithiya 3-156, Bhargav Bhatt 3-123) and 10-1 lead Baroda 291 (Shashwat Rawat 106; Sahil Raj 4-63, Rishav Raj 4-70) by 225 runs.
Elite Group B
With 4-46, Shreyas Gopal helped Karnataka secure the all-important first-innings lead against Maharashtra. Goa built on their first-innings lead of 97 to eventually set Madhya Pradesh 328. Having conceded a first-innings lead of 31, Punjab needed 227 to win: with his second hundred in as many games, new captain Uday Saharan helped them cruise to an eight-wicket win. Trailing by 73, Saurashtra were 69-3 against Kerala before Chirag Jani (152) took them to 351-5.

- Karnataka 313 (Mayank Agarwal 80; Jalaj Saxena 4-94) and 144-5 (Mayank Agarwal 64*; Mukesh Choudhary 3-70) lead Maharashtra 300 (Jalaj Saxena 72; Shreyas Gopal 4-46) by 157 runs.
- Goa 284 (Suyash Prabhudessai 65; Saransh Jain 4-78) and 230 (Abhinav Tejrana 69; Kumar Kartikeya 5-81) lead Madhya Pradesh 187 (Vasuki Koushik 5-34) and 21-1 by 306 runs.
- Chandigarh 173 (Nikhil Thakur 63; Ayush Gopal 4-50) and 195 (Ayush Goyal 4-48) lost to Punjab 142 (Nishunk Birla 4-18) and 227-2 (Uday Saharan 117*) by eight wickets.
- Saurashtra 160 (Jay Gohil 84; MD Nidheesh 6-20) and 351-5 (Chirag Jani 152) lead Kerala 233 (Rohan Kunnummal 80; Jaydev Unadkat 4-42) by 278 runs.
Elite Group C
Following on against Tripura, Assam finished the day on 78-3: they need another 286 to avoid the follow-on. Services collapsed to 125 in the second innings as Vishal Jayswal returned 6-59; Gujarat won by six wickets. Bengal need five wickets to beat Railways, who require to score 162 to make Bengal bat again. J Suchith (6-56) picked up three of the four remaining Haryana wickets as Uttarakhand won by an innings.

- Tripura 602-7d (Hanuma Vihari 156, Vijay Shankar 150*; Darshan Rajbongshi 3-83) lead Assam 238 (Sibsankar Roy 84*; Swapnil Singh 3-29) and 78-3 by 286 runs.
- Services 248 (Siddharth Desai 5-74) and 125 (Mohit Ahlawat 56; Siddharth Desai 4-44, Vishal Jayswal 6-59) lost to Gujarat 256 (Kshitij Patel 56; Pulkit Narang 5-77, Amit Shukla 4-84) and 118-4 (Amit Shukla 4-75) by six wickets.
- Bengal 474 (Anustup Majumdar 135, Sumanta Gupta 120; Kunal Yadav 4-98) lead Railways 222 (Bhargav Merai 91; Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal 4-35) and 90-5 by 162 runs.
- Haryana 112 (Mayank Mishra 4-38, J Suchith 5-27) and 148 (Dheeru Singh 70; J Suchith 6-56) lost to Uttarakhand 288 (Yuvraj Chaudhary 60; Parth Vats 3-60) by an innings and 28 runs.
Elite Group D
Chhattisgarh took 18 wickets in a single day before defeating Puducherry by 10 wickets. Himachal Pradesh slumped to 107-8 against Mumbai before recovering to 187, but that did not help them prevent the follow-on or, later in the day, an innings defeat. Trailing by 99 in the first innings, Delhi were bowled out for 277: chasing 179, Jammu & Kashmir were 55-2. Hyderabad secured a first-innings lead of 95 against Rajasthan before they slumped to 198-7.

- Chhattisgarh 377 (Mayank Verma 121*; Puneet Datey 3-71) and 4-0 beat Puducherry 205 (Paras Ratnaparkhe 52; Ravi Kiran 3-51) and 175 (Aditya Sarwate 4-27) by 10 wickets.
- Mumbai 446 (Musheer Khan 112, Siddhesh Lad 127; Mayank Dagar 4-111) beat Himachal Pradesh 187 (Nikhil Gangta 64*; Himanshu Singh 3-54) and 139 (Pukhraj Mann 65; Shams Mulani 5-37) by an innings and 120 runs.
- Delhi 211 (Ayush Badoni 64; Auqib Nabi 5-35) and 277 (Ayush Badoni 72; Vanshak Sharma 6-68) lead Jammu & Kashmir 310 (Paras Dogra 106; Simarjeet Singh 6-52) and 55-2 by 124 runs.
- Hyderabad 364 (Rahul Radesh 129; Ashok Sharma 3-89) and 198-7 (Rahul Singh 59) lead Rajasthan 269 (Kunal Rathore 83; Chama Milind 3-44) by 143 runs.
Plate Group
No.8 Kranthi Kumar hit 137 to push Sikkim’s lead from 25 to a substantial 164, following which Bihar finished on 148-3. Manipur need two wickets to beat Mizoram, though the latter are 14 runs away from making Manipur bat again. Meghalaya picked up the remaining seven wickets to crush Arunachal Pradesh by an innings and plenty.

- Bihar 265 (Sakibul Gani 66; Ankur Malik 5-81) and 148-3 (Mangal Mahrour 59) trail Sikkim 429 (Kranthi Kumar 137; Suraj Kashyap 4-142) by 16 runs.
- Manipur 400 (Al Bashid Muhammed 126) lead Mizoram 143 (Bishworjit Konthoujam 3-23) and 243-8 (Armaan Jaffer 81; Kishan Singha 4-74) by 14 runs.
- Meghalaya 628-6d (Arpit Bhatewara 207, Kishan Lyngdoh 119; Rahul Dalal 144; TNR Mohith 3-160) beat Arunachal Pradesh 73 (Aryan Bora 4-16) and 109 (Aryan Bora 3-45) by an innings and 446 runs.
