Sunrisers were bowled out for 143 in 99 balls after MI London captain Sam Curran won the toss and opted to field. Mitchell Marsh top-scored with a 27-ball 41 from the top of the order, while Tom Alsop hit an 18-ball 31. Richard Gleeson returned 4-25 and Curran 2-27, while Trent Boult picked up 1-17 from his quota of 20 balls.
Brydon Carse (2-18 in 20 balls) reduced MI London to 4-2, but Curran (60 not out in 39 balls) assumed control. When James Vince fell, MI London needed 93 in 56 balls, but Nicholas Pooran (58 not out in 22) ensured they got home with plenty to spare.
