West Indies are also entering with a series defeat, a 0-5 whitewash against Australia. Shai Hope will continue to captain the side. Andre Russell retired from international cricket recently, meaning there’s a spot up for grabs. Keacy Carty, who replaced an injured Evin Lewis for the fifth Australia T20I, is most likely to keep his place in the XI.

Salman Ali Agha retains his position as Pakistan’s captain despite a recent series loss against Bangladesh. Meanwhile, Shadab Khan is unavailable as he recovers from shoulder surgery. Shaheen Afridi returns to the squad after being left out of the Bangladesh tour, while Haris Rauf makes his comeback following an injury sustained during the Major League Cricket (MLC). Hassan Ali is also included, having last played for Pakistan in June.
